This is to confirm that Venleo Group (Pty) Ltd, led by Mr. Arno Olivier, successfully executed the Environmental Management Programme for the sewer upgrade project in central Kleinmond.

During the construction phase, the Venleo team demonstrated a strong understanding of environmental management concepts and issues. Mr. Olivier ensured his team paid close attention to the details of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP), actively seeking clarification from the Environmental Control Officer (ECO) and Resident Engineer when necessary.

Furthermore, the team exhibited a sensitive and professional approach towards the general public and affected property owners. They promptly implemented corrective measures, secured “happy letters” from homeowners, and tactfully managed difficult community interactions, referring matters to higher authorities when required to maintain good relationships.

Having served as an ECO for approximately 40 years on various projects, I can confidently certify that Venleo Group and Mr. Olivier have exhibited excellent environmental competence in construction projects.
